terrain and similar things

the first time i made a terrarium was in second grade. we were learning about ecosystems. i was immediately and endearingly enchanted by a tiny world trapped in a glass jar. so were the artsy women of the victorian era. to learn more on the intriguing history of terrariums turn to lifestyle bible, design*sponge.

little garden

i've always wanted to learn to garden because i think it is very martha stewart. but in less than 20 days i will be living in a big city. i suppose this gives me an excuse to start with a window sill garden. 
potting shed creations has a plethora of portable plants that are small, but mighty.
