i'm trekking accross colorado, arizona and new mexico on a road trip with my nana, her best friend, and my sister. there will be wind whipping my hair, feather head pieces, cow boy boots, denim, blisters, chapstick, leather, and the eagles.
the only problem is that my nana likes to "wine and dine" in luxury. my sister hates adventure. i happen to prefer nitty gritty motels, dirt in my boots, and beads of sweat on my skin. i guess i'll just be stuck behind my nikon the whole trip. i'll be dizzy from the squinting of fitting majesty into an inadequate frame. there will be too much sky, too much space.
after all that beauty i'll be migrating to portland, oregon for university. everything will be brand new. including me.
